Summary
Frank and Vivian asked Mel whether he was leaving to become a teacher or staying with the racing. He decided to stay racing and possibly look for a teaching job next year.
Sonny Ochsenlaager left the crew at that time.
Skimp Winkelman and Bud Gaborski who had been with the show the previous fall came along again.
The two-gallon gas tanks were replaced with eight-gallon tanks for the longer tracks at county fairs.
Carnie warned the guys away from playing the rigged games at the fairs.
