Summary
Kayla Holst is too hot to sleep when the power is out so the air conditioning isn't working. She finds even being nude isn't enough in her room but it is cooler outdoors so she ends up sleeping in one of the lounge chairs on the back porch.
Emily Holst calls in at the fire station to beg a cup of coffee. She suggests powering air conditioning in the training room from the emergency generator to enable the most vulnerable in the town to be out of the worst of the heat later in the day.
