Kirk Rexroth was a crooked DEA official who, in 1998, did his best to "hide" a government auction of a Learjet that was seized for drug-running. Presumably in return for a bribe, the plane would be sold for a bid much lower than the market price.
Instead, Jennlynn Swift found out about the rigged auction,MC23 and put in what would be the winning bid. Rexroth tried to find ways to stop Jennlynn from completing the transaction, but she, and her chief pilot retired Air Force general Mike Hanneman, succeeded in buying it, and renamed it Skyhook.MC24
