Jack Lufkin was a resident of Spearfish Lake. His wife, Rachel, died young, leaving him to raise his son Bobby and daughter Janice.
In December 2007 Cody Archer discovered and interrupted Jack and Bobby raping Janice. When Jack went for his shotgun, Cody shot and killed him. Bobby reaches for the same shotgun, Cody waited until he had his hand on it, then shot him.SK1
