Summary
Suffering from severe food poisoning, the girls collapse in their RV where Mrs. Deborin find them in the morning and calls 911. She subsequently calls Angie Berkshire to let them know the pair are in the hospital in Sault Ste. Marie. Incorrect diagnosis and improper treatment meant the girls suffered severely and it was over a week before they could be transferred home, still needing care. Despite their worries, the Berkshires couldn't prevent the Beechams from taking Sandy.
It was over a month before Dayna recovered to full consciousness and could slowly walk by herself. Mrs. Beecham deliberately blocked calls to Sandy and they agree to cancel upcoming shows and the recording session.
Medical bills consumed their insurance and dug into the savings.
Separated from Dayna's support and under a relentless barrage by her mother, Sandy marries Robbie Buehler and tells Dayna to tour without her.
