Summary
Randy asks Joe McGuinness if he can help him with his kayaking, describing what he's done so far. Joe arranges to meet that evening.
Randy drops in to see Gil Evachevski, to thank him for the advice that allowed Randy to handle Baughman, and telling Gil how scared he'd been afterwards. Gil invites Randy round the following evening.
Randy arrives at Joe's house in Hannegan's Cove to find that Joe had lots of kayaks and canoes in his garage. They go out to the Little Spearfish River at Quaker Falls, beyond Turtle Hill to find some white water to run. They are joined by Rod Turpin, and have fun running the falls. They arrange to meet again on the Wednesday.
