Summary

Scooter sees another planned camping spot is occupied and selects a promising stretch of beach for the night. Camp is set up quickly with Scooter explaining the routine to those new to the Canyon. Nanci and Trey as the most junior swampers set up the latrine.

Crystal talks quietly with Noah about Nanci and how she hopes Noah will be able to help. She supplies him with much of the back story.

There is a small campfire and Myleigh is asked to supply some music. Soon Crystal retires to her bedroll, leaving Noah talking to Nanci, who had napped much of the trip. When Nanci climbs into her sleeping bag, she gives Crystal a glimpse of how deep Nanci's despair had gone.
