Summary

Lenny and Sherwin are following Jenny, and are bored as they haven't had any decent shots of her. They follow her down Busted Axle Road, where she drives to a place called Spearfish Signs. They are dismayed when she gets into a small light aircraft. The plane heads towards town, they decide to try to follow it. They race through the town but are stopped by two policemen for speeding.

Don is in his office going through the incoming mail. He gets a notice that the Farm Home Administration have turned out their request for funding for the city sewer separation project, which was disappointing.

He then gets a notice from the Fish & Wildlife Service that they've declared a Critical Interest Area for the Gibson's Water Snake, which he doesn't really understand.

Jack comes in for a chat, and tells him how he's got funding for TV surveillance for the sewer system.

Don then reads a notice from the EPA announcing a fine of $10,000 a day if they continue to be out of compliance with their discharge from July 1, 1988, two years later that will rise to $20,000.

This means that the sewer separation has to go ahead.

Lenny & Sherwin are getting out of Spearfish Lake. They hitch a ride to the Camden Airport with someone who calls himself "Slim". He spins a yarn about what Harold and LeRoy do to drivers who break the law. They tell Slim that they were trying to get film of Jenny Easton, but that they aren't going back. They give Slim a nice tip for driving them to the airport.
