Bob Watson is a friend of Judy Niven and Ken Sorensen in Willow Lake, although it is likely the Watson's live in Arvada Center. He has a brother, Merle, and does farm work.
Bob has a bad stutter, but can play guitar and sing really well. He marries Lori Mattson in a rush in the summer of 1984 after she falls pregnant.TNG9 Their eldest child is Jimmy. A second child, Amanda, is born in the winter 1986.TNG16
When we next hear about Bob, he's a member of Jenny Easton's Boreal String Band in the book Facing the Storm.
We learn that in the intervening time, the Watson's, the Sorensen's and the Griswold's joined forces to build a combined milk farm and factory.
