Characters
Summary
Josh starts the morning feed and helps Tiffany to harness her team to take her to school.
Josh then has breakfast at Spearfish Lake Cafe, where he discusses his upcoming races (the Warsaw Run, the Beargrease 500, the Michigan 200) with Mike, Mark and Bud.
When Josh gets back to the kennels, Phil has arrived. Phil takes a five dog team out for a run, and Josh gets a seventeen dog team to go for a long run. He sees Greg Mears and his team out on the trail, and as he has so many dogs is able to blast past Greg.
Later on he meets up again with Greg, warning him that there will be trains running for the next two days on part of the course.
When he gets back he and Phil discuss competing in the Warsaw Run dog race.
