NSME

NSME is a fictional trade association that appears now and then in Wes's books. NSME stands for National Society of Mechanical Engineers.^GT8 The name is also used as a short-hand for the NSME-organized industry annual convention in Chicago.

Pete Chladek attended the 2002 convention.
Before that, Jon Chladek said "he'd only been to one NSME convention in the previous five years because he thought it was all getting to be the same stuff over and over."^GT2
