Mike (Dorothy's son) was the oldest son of Dorothy Hoffman and her husband Chuck. Around 1993, he came to work at the Bar H Bar ranch for his uncle Duane Hoffman and his wife Ellen.MC10 He came for a couple of summers to the ranch,MC17 but in summer 1995 he had a college class during summer. Apparently, he had a drug problem, and working at the ranch straightened him out.MC29
