Maureen Trott works for Lambdatron in the Personnel department and is also the security officer (whose duties include handling all the paperwork involving employee security clearances). She is married to co-founder Sam Trott. In 1990 they've been married for ten years and have two children, a son John age nine and an adopted daughter Raylene, seven. They live in Phoenix and work in Tempe, a suburb.

Maureen suffered from severe sexual abuse as a child and despite her love for Sam, cannot stand physical sex. Since he has a strong sex drive, they maintain their committed marriage with a trip every other month to a Nevada brothel where Maureen will choose a girl for her husband and he never repeats business with the same girl twice.
