Lordston Northern

The Lordston Northern, or fully Lordston Northern Scenic Railroad is a fictional short-line railroad founded by Bill Lee as a result of him and his daughter Diane finding an old steam engine that they wanted to restore. Bill bought a section of track from the D&O which they rarely used and intended to abandon, the track running from Lordston north to Whiteport. Bill also bought a small Alco diesel engine, which Diane helped to restore and now runs.

Real World Note

There is a real Lordston in Ohio, with a large General Motors assembly plant. New cars are shipped from that location by rail to many locations in the US, including as far as the west coast.
