Lake State

Lake Superior State University, more commonly referred to as Lake State, is a (real) small public university in upstate Michigan. It is located in Sault Ste Marie, with Canada just across the river. It is in fact the smallest Michigan public university with about 3000 students, but in the Spearfish Lake Universe, the fictitious Southern Michigan University at the other end of the state is smaller.
