Summary
Nanci and Sarah had decided they had to keep Sarah's summer job secret to make it more difficult for Abraham Bowman to find her.
During the last two months of the semester Sarah received two letters from Abraham Bowman reiterating the message that she'd been promised to him and don't try to run away.
They took three days to drive from Hickory Run to Flagstaff, Nanci telling Sarah about life on the river as a swamper som of the time.
When they arrived at Canyon Tours Al and Karin talked to them about the members of White Team this year.
