Harold Stevens is a railroad engineer that retired from D&O Railroad and by 1981 works a little for the C&SL Railroad in their Camden switching yard despite pushing eighty.
Harold and his friend Ralph McPhee had helped in the restoration of the 9608 steam engine. Both had also run steam engines for 30 years and still filled in for Bill Lee at the Lordston Northern railroad.
