Summary
Adam's father, Samuel, died in mid March. He was surprised to see Brittany at the funeral. She told him she'd been helping her parents a couple of days a week and was thinking of moving to be nearer to them.
Deke Hampton suggested Adam get an appraisal of Samuel's collection, and recommended a couple of people. After getting two estimates Adam appointed Beverly to handle the cataloguing and sale.
Adam needed to visit Mary to talk about cash legacies from Samuel for herself and Matty. To minimise any trail which might lead Brittany to Mary he wanted an annonymous car with no links to himself. He also needed to be free to be away from work for three weeks.
Towards the end of April he left Caldwell-Deerfield in the hands of Bob, Fred, Marcia and the CFO to take the trip.
