Summary
Adam Caldwell was sitting in his office looking at a poster size photo of his son, Matt, expecting a phone call from his wife, Brittany, when she was served the divorce papers.
Brittany had just been discharged from a private psychiatric hospital and was served the divorce papers when she arrived at home.
She was hysterical and denied that Adam could divorce her. She was also in denial that Matt had died, that he was dying last time they'd seen him. She became fixated on their grandson when Adam mentioned that Mary was thinking solely of Matt, not herself or the baby, when she took him to sea so he could die and be buried where he wanted.
After the phone call Adam told Marcia not to put any calls from Brittany through in future. He also said he was going away for a few days and might not be back before Christmas.
