Summary
Karin is dreading the Christmas break.
As it turns out she is right - as soon as Pete gets home with Jon he picks a fight with Crystal over Nanci.
Crystal leaves, and afterwards Karin realises that Crystal has packed all her belongings, and isn't intending to come back.
The same events described by both Crystal and Jon in Chapter 11 of Canyon Fires and Chapter 1 of Alone Together.
