Summary
Crystal and Myleigh are roommates with obvious differences, yet have bonded. They go to the cafeteria together and cross Randy, a fellow student that thanks Crystal for her help in teaching him to roll a kayak. He remembers Myleigh from a shared class the previous spring. Crystal encourages him to join the spring kayaking. She also relates how she'll need to avoid the swim coach. She helped out too well (as described in The Lone Ranger) and despite the recruiting attempt, doesn't want to join the swim team. We learn how Crystal is interested in everything, but wants it for fun, not boring practice.
Randy is invited to join the girls as they play some music in the lounge. Crystal brings a guitar while Myleigh produces her Celtic harp.
