Summary
Catalina and Bonnie spend the night at Roger's house, with Catalina back in his bed. They go to Becky's Cafe for breakfast where Roger introduces the women to the regulars, including Jason. Roger is naturally teased about all he's been doing.
After breakfast, they meet with Ralph who confirms nothing can be settled quickly. A counteroffer will be made and if Delmer continues to give Bonnie too difficult a time, a protection order can be obtained.
Christmas dinner is spent at Roger's brother-in-law's farm with his sister Arlene cooking. In total, "his parents, two sisters, three brothers, and a bunch of their kids would be there. [... Plus] there would be various and sundry in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and who knew what."
Another breakfast is spent at Becky's Cafe, where news of an impending winter storm has them planning. When Ralph confirms nothing will happen soon, they decides to head south for warmer weather and to avoid Delmer.
