Summary
Al and Karin chat and watch the crews rig out the rafts in preparation for the wedding trip. They discuss everything from the number of trips Al has been on to the quality of his employees, but especially how surprised they are at how happy they are. They conclude with Karin saying "(Nanci)'s the one person I wish was going on this trip who won't be here."
On that note, Crystal's Dodge arrives up and Nanci gets out with the others. It's a tearful reunion. To allow everyone time to consider, Karin sends Nanci off with Scooter while the others discuss whether she should be allowed on the trip. All have misgivings and worries. Al offers that he can play the part of the heavy as needed.
Nanci returns, knowing there is a real chance she won't get to go. When Al lays out the opportunity, Nanci promises to try her best.
