Summary
Vivian Blixter made contact with a number of old MMSA racers and setup a reunion on the first weekend of December.
Mel's Auto Shop II kids decided to push on to get the restoration of the No 2 car ready to be shown and the reunion. Keith Henderson painted it with his airbrush.
Mel was frustrated that he couldn't track down an engine for the restored car. Jerry Wollett said he might have an idea.
In February 1965 Mel was surprised to get two new engines for the restored MMSA car delivered. Jerry Woolett had arranged it through Livonia Import Autos.
After school the kids fitted the engine into the car and pushed it to get it started for Arlene to drive around the school parking lot.
