Harold and Martha Lackamp were missionaries to Rwanda, Africa and their daughter Sarah Lackamp was born there.

Ethnic fighting between Hutu and Tutsi in 1994 caused the evacuation of the misionaries and left Sarah Lackamp severely traumatised.^HR19
