Summary
Dave meets Shae in the airport. The flight was delayed, and her seat reservation was messed up so she was squeezed too tight for too long. They unwind their tensions, happily, in bed.
On the way from the airport, and early on Christmas morning, they talk about future plans. Shae is doubtful about Avalon continuing too far, and she is beginning to think about coming back to Bradford. Dave says that might be best, although they have plenty of time to make a decision—several months at least. Dave talks about building a tall-person-friendly house, wherever they settle, because he wants Shae to be happy. Shae is ecstatic.
