Phyllis (last name currently unknown) is an electrologist in Chicago (an electrologist is one who performs electrology, one of several methods for permanent hair removal).

Since permanent facial hair removal is generally a given for a genetic male who is trying to appear female, or is planning to undergo Sex Reassignment Surgery, she has treated both Denis Riley and Paul McClellan. She herself had a son who had gone through SRS. Since so many transgendered people were cut off from their families as a result of the process, Phyllis had become sort of a surrogate mother to many, and she was well liked, friendly, and non-judgmental.^GM12
