Summary
A natural friendship develops with the Bakers now that Dayna understands their relationship. The trio can discuss things they just can't with others. The friendship prompts Dayna to considerable introspection, including about her relationship with Sandy, men and the entertainment business.
Vicky arrives to take over while the Bakers return. Dayna's recovery is sufficient that she takes considerable responsibility and Vicky is more guest than babysitter. Mandy arrives next and while she and Dayna were good friends in school, there's more distance between them now. Emily and Kevin run the last ten days of the season before returning to Michigan for holidays.
This is the first winter Dayna has spent in Michigan since graduation. She spends some time playing clubs, mostly around Chicago. She decides to start her season in April as by herself in Colorado. As she drives out of Bradford, she misses Sandy.
