Georgette Kempa was a resident of Spearfish Lake with a daughter, Mary Lou. It is not known if she was still married to Mary Lou's father.
When Mary Lou was involved in a scuffle at the Frostee Freeze, Georgette was quick to accept her daughter's word and call Marilyn Hvalchek. There were other witnesses that told a different story. Mary Lou had to be taken to the ER in Camden. When Ashley Keilhorn explained about several of Mary Lou's traits, Marilyn explained "Mary Lou must have gotten that from her mother. She was just like that when she was in high school. Runs in the family, I guess."BITH5
It is likely that Georgette went to Spearfish Lake High School with Marilyn and Bob Hvalchek.
In August 2010, Georgette was president of the Marlin Athletic Boosters. When she complained to Brandy Wine about the firing of Jerome Weilfahrt, Brandy responded that the school might be better off without football.BOF25
