Front Range Technical Services
Front Range Technical Services is the company that Brandy Evachevski drops out of her doctorate in geology program to join as a partner. Having invented the Magres system, she takes the idea to Front Range, who use it for good commercial effect. As the resident expert on the system, Brandy spends the next few years spending long periods at mine sites across the world, until she eventually burns out as described in Facing the Storm. The home office is in Golden, Colorado, a Denver suburb.
Later, after he and Brandy are married, Phil Wine develops new software that significantly improves the speed and effectiveness of the Magres system, and sells it to Front Range for 3 million dollars.
