Bellinger Gates was a (fictional) financial company based in New York City. Their main office was in the World Trade Center, and was destroyed in the September 11, 2001 attack.

Julie Patterson was one of the hundreds of people in the firm who died on that day.^PUTP14

Several branches elsewhere survived, and they were able to continue operating, albeit with some difficulties.

Martin Clemens was a senior account executive in the firm, who helped Dave Patterson manage the funds that Julie held there.
