Austin Auto Service was the shop Mel and Ray Austin had built at the entrance to the Bradford Track on land Mel already owned. It provided Ray with his income and allowed him to be manager of the track.BR4-3
Ray and his two sons Chuck and Will used the shop to maintain and store their race cars. They all had Austin Auto Service showing as a sponsor on their cars.
When Ray bought a car for Telzey Amberdon to drive she also worked on it at the shop.
After his Pony Stock was rolled Jack Kaufmann built a replacement car at the shop with the help of the Austins and Telzey.BR4-27
