Tom Cornplanter was a Sioux architect with experience building ski resorts in Colorado and Utah. The project he was hired for at the Three Pines would be his first on his own.PE19
He was about forty and seemed to know what he was talking about. Randy Clark decided he ought to be able to work with Tom.PE20
He presented a set of nice looking renderings with no details to a meeting at Three Pines in early January and suggested a project budget and timescale which Randy thought ridiculously low. He returned to Denver without a contract.PE28
