Summary
Tiffany has taken the puppies out for a run by setting them in a team pulling her on her bike. They get trapped by a grass fire near the lake, she comes across a small boy who is lost & scared. She takes the boy into the lake with the dogs to avoid the flames. She gets the boy to look after the puppy Skosh, whilst she looks after the other dogs, trying to avoid them getting tangled in the harnesses & drowning.
Tiffany sees the Fire Department and hopes that they can see her. When another fireman sees something in the Lake, Turpin identifies a number of heads and calls Chief Masterfield for assistance. Masterfield arrives with the boys mother. They rescue the abandoned bike, and Masterfield takes them all back to the command post, and Fred Linder drives them back home to Mark's.
The boy turns out to be called Jimmy, and doesn't want to leave Skosh, so Tiffany suggests that Jimmy keep hold of him for a while. When the whole family return, Jimmy's father offers to pay for Skosh, but Tiffany is happy to let him go, as his thin coat means that he'll never be a racing dog.
