Moonshine Valley was an old dirt track about a fifth of a mile that Lynn Punnett had carved out on his farm so he could drive anytime he felt like it. He invited a few friends over for casuall afternoon racing a few times a year.BR4-16

He called it “Moonshine Valley” mostly because of the old association between stock cars and the runners hauling ’shine out of the hills down south.

Ed Corrin and his wife, Lorraine, had bought about forty acres including the track and a bit more for a house from Lynn Punnett's widow so he could keep the casual racing going.

Frequent improvements to the track were made by Lynn and Ed continued the practice.

Racing was most Sunday afternoons unless Ed and Lorraine were watching the races at Michigan International Speedway.BR4-16

A number of people who raced at the Bradford Track also raced at Moonshine Valley.
