Lynn Punnett was a farmer who enjoyed dirt track racing. He built a fifth of a mile dirt track on his farm for stress relief and practice without having to wait for weekend racing at local tracks.
He called it “Moonshine Valley” mostly because of the old association between stock cars and the runners hauling ’shine out of the hills down south. BR4-16
