Gene Miller was the minister of Hillside Methodist Church in Flagstaff.DBR5
A short, balding man who was usually pretty easy-going. He wasn’t a terrifically good public speaker, with a rather flat and quiet delivery, but that didn’t mean his messages were any less strong. Being a Pastor was a second career following 30 years in the Air Force.DBR14
He led Nanci through membership classes, helped her obtain scholarships and transfer to Black Mesa College in Phoenix and generally supported her efforts to become a minister.
