Emil Shaundessy was the owner of Shaundessy's Bait and Tackle on Wood Duck Lake, on the north side of Spearfish Lake.
"Emil Shaundessy was, as some people put it, “Older than God.” That wasn’t quite true, but the fact of the matter was that he’d celebrated his 90th birthday earlier in the year, and was still spry and got around pretty well.
