Summary
Mike & Kirsten have settled down with their two children Tiffany and Henry.
Mike tells Mark that it is time that the Record-Herald looked at replacing the old Compugraphic photo-typesetter machines with newer equipment, as it was getting difficult to repair them as well as getting more and more expensive. Mark agreed to look around to see what was available as a possible replacement.
Kirsten becomes pregnant with their third child, then they decide to move after a little black snake pops out of the bathtub drain in their old house (this is one of the major plotlines in the book Busted Axle Road). It turns out that their new next-door neighbors are Mark and Jackie Gravengood.
