Summary
Mark gets checked out in the towplane, and does a couple of tows with Fred and two more with Jack, finishing the day with a solo tow. Jack reminds him that he is essentially an elevator operator.
Jack and Jackie start her flight instruction in Rocinante while Bruce helps Mark set up their camp.
The next day is quite busy until a storm approaches, and they hurry to get all the gliders in the hangar and the tow planes tied down. The storm passes after 20 minutes, and Jackie has more lessons, shooting touch and go landings. Fred takes Mark out for another checkride in the glider trainer, and then Mark solos. Since the next day is Monday, a slow day, Mark and Jackie make plans to fly to Fort Collins Valley Airpark, where Jackie can get her flight physical and they can get some groceries and gas up Rocinante.
