Summary

Karin & Melissa are replaced by Norma. During the trip, Duane talks to Crystal & Scooter about going to OLTA for the WFR course, or perhaps getting an EMT card. He is thinking of staying in the Canyon, and would like to be a trip leader one day. When they get back to base, Michelle is running the office whilst Al is on the river with Karin, so they discuss hiring a boat in the off season as they had done previously. On the next trip, Norma saves the day twice by warning about flash flooding at Shinumo Creek and Diamond Creek, and is becoming a good boatman; unfortunately, she has plans for med school, so almost certainly won't be working with Canyon Tours for much longer.
