Summary

Dave and Shae tackle their respective employers in New York to nail down the future.

Rayme Haynes, whom Dave disliked, is out at Dunlap and Fyre, and as a result Dave gets offered a promotion. He politely declines; and tells his boss and colleagues that he is definitely settling in Bradford. On the other hand, his own book -- an about half written dark fantasy with the working title Slave of Sinsy -- gets rave reviews from the folks in the office, and his boss offers to pay him salary with little additional workload until Dave can finish the book.

Shae goes to Avalon dressed to emphasize her pregnant state. She finally gets a direction -- looks like she will be slowly phased out of the show, with Shae having to spend about a week per month in the city.

After 9 months, Dave finally makes his way to the site of the twin towers, and says good-bye to Julie.
