Summary
Dave is slowly getting used to life in Bradford -- and life without Julie. He talks to Emily a lot, who's become his good friend and source of local knowledge.
Shae is on the phone every night: first telling a story to the boys, and then talking to Dave, sometimes for an hour or more.
Dave makes progress with his editing job. He has misgivings about the new fantasy from Larissa Hamilton, which he passes on to his supervisor at Dunlap and Fyre Michelle. He also volunteers for more work, and gets to read the slush pile.
