Titusville Beach

Titusville Beach is a beach near the Kennedy Space Center with a small airport and a good view of most space launch. It is still one of the most popular vantage points to see Space Shuttle launches.

It was to Titusville airport that Jackie and Mark Gravengood flew in early 1971 to witness the Apollo XV launch. Their campsite was a long hike down the highway and beach from the town.

The Spearfish Lake couple met Kathy and Roger Griswold from Arvada Center who had driven down on their Honeymoon.
