Summary

Norm is chopping wood for his stove when his dogs react, warning him that someone is coming with a dog team. It turns out to be Josh, with a passenger, who to Norm's surprise turns out to be his daughter Judy. He hadn't got her letter telling him she was coming. They swap news about the family. Norm tells Judy about the Iditarod, and that both Josh & Tiffany want to run it. Josh goes off for more training leaving Judy with Norm. Josh gets back to the kennels after the training run to find Phil coming in for a visit. Josh organises two teams for him and Phil to take training, and then they both run out to Norm's cabin. There is a surprise when Judy recognises Phil as they went through school together. Judy has convinced Norm to go back to Willow Lake to take care of some things, so Norm takes a third team back to the kennels.
