Summary

Mark and Jackie start to clear debris from the runway, but after an hour, Brother Erasmus showed up and they all started trying to salvage lumber from the debris. Mr. Cowgill shows up, and tells them not to use the old stuff because he had delivered a load of new wood and other supplies to the church. Mr. Cowgill agrees to have his crew take care of some of the logs on the runway. Mark helps Brother Erasmus build rafters for the church, and Br. Erasmus gives them a bible; he and Ethylene give them dinner. Paul recruits Mark to help with setting a new telephone pole. Jackie writes to her father and Sarah again.
