Summary
Leaving Everglades City, they flew to Orlando, Daytona Beach, and St. Augustine, ending up spending 2 nights at Cedar Key. Mark had been teaching Jackie how to fly, and by then she was learning fast. After Cedar Key, they head on, and manage to get trapped by a big thunderstorm, not knowing exactly where they were. Jackie spots a small airstrip, and Mark quickly lands and they secure the airplane. There was a lull in the storm, but they saw a huge funnel cloud heading their way; they quickly took refuge behind a barbecue pit.
They survived the tornado, but there were some holes in Rocinante's wings, and the airstrip was covered with debris.
