Summary

Dave spends an evening at the McClellans; much of it in a hot tub with Eve going through his emotional difficulties, and his doubts about the relationship with Shae. In the process he confirms, and Eve is quite willing to show, that she looks very much like a normal woman, and not at all like his former classmate Dennis.

Eve helps him think through his issues, but ultimately states she cannot tell him or Shae what to do. As a friend, not a psychologist, she'd like to see them together, but not to rush into anything.
