Summary
Jennlynn is flying back from visiting a Lambdatron supplier in Mexico City and on her way to a trade show in Chicago. There are sufficient complication in flying international in Skyhook to have her flying commercial for this trip. She upgrades her Lambdatron paid ticket to first class, sitting in the first row and happens to meet an old friend and former co-worker from the Redlite Ranch, Mallory. The pair play a prominent role in fighting a hijack attempt, but too late to prevent the wounding of the flight crew. In minutes, Jennlynn finds herself at the controls of an Airbus 300.
The airliner is directed to land at Keesler Air Force base, which happens to be the current assignment of Will Hoffman. With his superior, the Public Information officer off-base for the weekend, it devolves upon Master Sergeant Hoffman to handle the press for this emergency, unaware that he knows the woman flying the plane.
Air Force Reserve pilot Lt Col. Bruce Hadley, an experienced A300 pilot, is found at Keesler to talk Jennlynn through landing procedures. Colonel Hadley doesn't immediately recognize her name, but the air operations officer identifies her as Learjet Jenn.
It is with that reveal that the chapter halts.
