Cynthia deLine, better known as Cindy. She is the only daughter of Gordon and Lisa deLine and was born in 1981. By September 1997, she is a pupil at the high school and was present when Jason Bailey was attacked by three football player and defended himself with a knife. Although staying off record, she is the one that gives Brenda Hodunk the information the reporter needs to crack the story in Andromeda Chained.

Cindy appears embarrassed by her mother's outspokenness and activism on her behalf. She is known to spend a lot of time with Henry McMahon, who is said to "be sweet on her". She is a brunette and has been spotted jogging.

After Cindy graduated from High School (Spring 2000), she wanted to move far away from her mother. She first enrolled in the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and after Lisa bought a house and moved, Cindy transferred to the University of Miami.^BB36
